Delete your account
For CustomerBot and the CustomerBot Companion mobile app
You can delete your CustomerBot account yourself at any time — you do not need to contact us first. Deleting your account is immediate and permanent. We cannot recover an account or its data once it has been deleted.
In the CustomerBot Companion app

- 2Go to the Settings tab.
- 3Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- 4Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.
On the web

- 2Open Billing from the Account section of the sidebar.
- 3Scroll to Delete account and choose Delete my account.
- 4Confirm with Delete forever.
If you cannot sign in
Email hello@customerbot.co from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the address before acting, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
Your account: name, email address, profile picture, and the identifier from the provider you signed in with (Google, Apple or GitHub).
Your assistants: every assistant you own, along with its configuration and appearance.
Conversations and messages: all chat sessions and transcripts belonging to your assistants.
Leads: every contact your assistants captured.
Training material: the documents, URLs and question-and-answer pairs you added, including the search index built from them.
Team data: teams on your assistants, and your membership of teams on other people's assistants.
Notifications: the device tokens used to send you push notifications.
Community messages: messages you posted in the in-app community.
Any active subscription is cancelled so that it does not renew. Assistants owned by other people that you were only a member of are not deleted — they belong to their owner, and you are simply removed from them.
What is kept, and for how long
Billing and tax records. Invoices and payment records are retained by us and by our payment processor for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These records contain your billing email and transaction history, not your conversations or training material.
Server logs. Operational logs may contain IP addresses and request metadata and are rotated out within 30 days.
Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups age out, after which it is unrecoverable.
